Dunder Mifflin nostalgics, rejoice. Michael Steve Carell and Jim John Krasinski will finally meet again, eleven years after the departure of the worst boss in the history of the small screen, at the end of season 7 of The Office. Variety informs us that Steve Carell has just joined the Paramount film, If. A feature film that Krasinski will write, produce and direct. For this first achievement since the two parts of the Quietly Saga, Krasinki has built a more than solid cast. Alongside Carell, we will therefore find Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., the young star of Minari Alan Kim, Cailey Fleming and Fiona Shaw. This family film should tell the journey “of a child who rediscovers his imagination”. It’s vague, but that’s all we know about the project for now. Release planned across the Atlantic on November 17, 2023.
