After The Father, French director Florian Zeller returns with The Son and his XXL cast

However, we already feel where the problem comes from in this reconstituted family, or in any case that there will be some. Before its presentation at the Venice Film Festival, The Son, the new film by the Frenchman behind the success The Father in the XXL cast, is revealed in a first teaser. Enough to arouse curiosity around the story of this son returning to his father (Hugh Jackman) and his stepmother (Vanessa Kirby), two years after the divorce with his mother (Laura Dern). A pre-favorite for the Oscars, as was his previous film, which will have to be followed closely, even if its release is scheduled for France on March 8, 2023.
