Abhishek Bachchan announces his new film ‘Ghoomar’ on his birthday

Abhishek Bachchan may never have got superstar status, but he has played many stellar roles in his career. Abhishek will mark his presence in many big films in the coming days. Today i.e. on 5th February, he is celebrating his 46th birthday. On this special occasion, he has gifted his fans a new film of his. Abhishek has announced his new film today. Abhishek took to Instagram and shared a picture of a clapboard placed in front of Lord Ganesha's picture with the film's name 'Ghoomar' written on it. It is reported that R Balki is directing it. Abhishek wrote, 'There can't be a better birthday gift than this. Birthday is the best day spent working. The shooting of 'Ghoomar' has started. Abhishek's well wishers are wishing him for his birthday and new film. This is not the first time that Abhishek is working with Balki as a director. Even before this both have worked together. Abhishek and Balki came together for the film 'Paa'. The film came to the audience in 2009. This is one of the best films of Abhishek's career. It was highly appreciated not only by the audience but also from the critics. Along with Abhishek, his father Amitabh Bachchan was also seen in the film. Balki has a special bond with the Bachchan family. Especially he has a very good bonding with Amitabh Bachchan. Both have been seen praising each other on many occasions. Balki definitely cast Amitabh in each of his films. He himself says that his films are incomplete without Amitabh. They have worked together in many films like 'Cheeni Kum', 'Shamitabh', 'Ki & Ka', 'English Vinglish' and 'Padman'. Balki is a well-known filmmaker and screenwriter. Last time he wrote the story of the film 'Mission Mangal', which was a box office hit. Balki is also working on the film 'Chup' these days. It stars Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Deol in the lead roles. Abhishek was last seen in the film 'Bob Biswas' .He will be seen in director Tushar Jalota's social comedy film 'Dasvin'. The producer of this film is Dinesh Vijan. Abhishek is also playing an important role in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Oh My Kadavule. Abhishek will also play the lead role in the Hindi remake of the popular Tamil film 'Otha Serappu Size 7'. Apart from this, he will be seen in Anurag Kashyap's directorial venture 'Gulaab Jamun'.
