The platform is inspired by the writings of Edgar Allan Poe for his next project, online in early 2023. In his poem The Revealing Heart, the poet wrote “One of his eyes resembled that of a vulture — a pale blue eye, with a movie over it. Whenever it fell upon me, my blood ran cold“. It is this quote that gives its title to the thriller Pale Blue Eye, adapted from the novel of the same name, for which the platform has teamed up with Scott Cooper, director among others of Hostiles et Affamés, who has been working on his project for almost ten years and of which here is the first dismal teaser: Harry Melling, known for his role as Dudley Dursley in Harry Potter, will play the famous American author. He will team up with a disillusioned detective, played by Christian Bale, to lead the investigation into the murder of a cadet in this gothic thriller set in the 19th century. The two men will quickly be confronted with the military’s code of silence, which will hinder their investigation.
