International star Celine Dion announced on Wednesday that she will be starring in the romantic comedy Love Again, which will hit theaters in 2023, and in which she will play herself. “See you at the cinema!”, Wrote the Quebecer on social networks, specifying that she will play alongside Indian Bollywood film star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Scottish actor Sam Heughan, known for his role in the drama series Outlander. Celine Dion has also indicated that she will unveil new songs for this Sony-produced film which will be released on the big screen on May 12. The film directed by James C. Strouse (The Incredible Jessica James) tells the story of a young woman who continues, after the death of her fiancé, to send him text messages. An idyll was then born with the new holder of the telephone number, a journalist, thanks to Céline Dion, whose portrait he was to write. In April, the 54-year-old star had postponed all the concerts of his Courage World Tour scheduled for Europe this year, due to ongoing health concerns. In recent years, the Canadian star has been forced to cancel and postpone many performances for medical reasons and because of the pandemic.
