American actor Ray Liotta, star of the mythical mafia film Goodfellas, has died at the age of 67, several American media announced on Thursday. The star died in his sleep, specifies the TMZ site, citing a source close to Ray Liotta. Deadline also reported the actor’s death while filming in the Dominican Republic. Besides his role as a mobster in Goodfellas in 1990, Ray Liotta was known to the American public for having played in the baseball film Until the end of the dream in 1989. He had first made himself known on the screen in 1986 with Dangerous in all respects, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
