This is how, among other things, Hans Zimmer received his non-live Oscar for his Dune soundtrack. This is, for his 11th nomination, the second time that the great composer has received the golden statuette, the first being in 1995 for The Lion King. Here he beat Jonny Greenwood for The Power of the Dog, Nicholas Britell for Don’t Look Up, Germaine Franco for Encanto or Albert Iglesias for Madres Paralelas. Note that in the eight prizes awarded upstream, Dune also left with three awards, Best Editing for Joe Walker, Best Sound for Anthony Breznican and Best Sets for Patrice Vermette and Zsuzsanna Sipos.
