As every year, the nominations of the Césars allow you to look a little in the rear view mirror and to make a small assessment (again) of the productions of the past year. However, as we all know, 2021 offered us an extraordinary cinephile vintage – partly thanks to delays due to the Covid, and a particularly succulent Cannes Film Festival. And when we look closely at the nominations for these 2022 Césars, force is to note that the choices will be difficult. Of course there are films that dominate the selection, in particular Lost Illusions (15 nominations), Annette (11) or Aline (10). In the same way, obviously there are incomprehensible absences (Marion Cotillard to begin with, but also Teddy…), presences that cannot be explained, or appointments and somewhat strange choices. The fact is that this edition has a nice selection. The 4,363 film professionals who are members of the Academy now have one month to vote and decide between these films, in 24 categories, before the ceremony on February 25. Here are all the nominations:Best FilmAline, directed by Valérie Lemercier Annette, directed by Leos Carax Bac Nord, directed by Cédric Jimenez L’Événement, directed by Audrey Diwan La Fracture,
