I couldn’t have done it five years ago and I won’t be able to do it in five years. I have ideas and I hope that I will be able to concretize the project. I think This Is 40 has aged well. As soon as someone sees him past 40, he says to me: ‘Oh, I understand everything now.’ I want to do it again.” We do not yet know if This Is 50 will be the next feature film by the director, producer and screenwriter who has just signed a multi-year contract with Universal. For the studios, he notably produced Bros, created by gay actor and comedian Billy Eichner, is the first major film to bring together an entirely LGBTQ+ main cast. the Peacock platform, which will follow the daily life of a young man with muscular dystrophy in his family and romantic relationships, struggling against a failing American health system.
