This winter, Disney and Kevin Feige will begin the fifth phase of their Marvel Cinematic Universe with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the 31st film in the successful franchise and third feature film dedicated to the character played by Paul Rudd. To tease the return of the MCU in 2023, Disney unveils an unpublished trailer in which we discover (finally) in more detail the new big villain of the saga and successor to Thanos, Kang the conqueror: an emblematic comic book villain, created under the pencil of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in the 1960s, introduced in the first season of Loki as Jonathan Majors (The Harder They Fall). In this new adventure of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scott, Hope Pym and their respective families will face the biggest challenge of their history. At first glance, Scott will make a dubious deal with Kang who is able to modify and restructure time, and therefore create new temporal branches, in order to regain the one lost with his daughter Cassie during Thanos’ snap (the period when the half of the living beings had disappeared). And to travel back in time, they will venture into the quantum realm, as gigantic as it is mysterious, to discover a new dimension full of surprises but also multiple threats. -to be noticed the (very) brief appearance of MODOK (for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing), a Marvel character as cult as it is extravagant who will make his debut in live action. The battle between Scott and Kang, which should begin the new main arc of the MCU, will arrive on February 15 in our dark rooms.
