This week, Lewis Hamilton and Vanity Fair unveiled their collaboration for the next issue of the magazine, with a stylish photo shoot of the eight-time F1 world champion, accompanied by an interview. especially on what he likes to do outside the circuits and on his friendships. He thus recounts having met Tom Cruise on a film set some time ago and thus having established a good relationship with him: “He invited me on the set years ago when he was filming Edge of Tomorrow, then we built a friendship over time.” A godsend for Hamilton who had seen the 1986 Top Gun, released when he was a baby, and who, as a child, wanted to become a fighter pilot. He tells Vanity Fair: “When I heard the second one was coming out, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I have to ask him.’ I said to him, ‘I don’t care what role it is.
