After having faced and knocked out Ricky Conlan then Viktor Drago in the first two films of the saga, Adonis is about to get back into the ring for the third part of the adventures of Creed. Michael B. Jordan still plays the boxer heir to Rocky Balboa, but also dons the director’s hat for the first time in his career. The official trailer for the film also confirms the return of Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, and Florian Munteanu, and marks the arrival of Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country, Loki) who will play the franchise’s newest antagonist. Creed III takes place nearly seven years after the confrontation between Adonis and Viktor Drago, won in extremis by the son of Apollo Creed. Now respected in the boxing community, Donnie takes the opportunity to spend time with his family and stay away from the ring. But when his childhood friend Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors) steps out of the hole after spending more than eighteen years there, his career and reputation are once again in jeopardy. The duel at the top between the two rivals promises to be thrilling, as Damian has absolutely everything to gain, while Adonis risks losing everything. Creed III will arrive in our dark rooms from March 1, 2023.
