More than 20 years after its theatrical release, the Chicken Run phenomenon will be entitled to a sequel. This goofy clay-volleyball road movie was a huge box office smash with $225 million, and remains the most successful stop-motion movie of all time. chose to surf on the success of this first opus to offer a sequel to the adventures of their laying hens and were slow to give in to the temptation of prequels, sequels and other adaptations, very fashionable in the animation world. But the hen with the golden eggs has attracted the covetousness of the giant Netflix, which has recovered the rights to the film, still produced by the historic Aardman studios. And today, the platform gives us news of the project, entitled Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, which should be released in 2023.
