The good news of the day is here: a Saint Seiya live action movie is coming in 2023 and the first teaser has just hit the platforms: The movie is called Knights of the Zodiac and is directed by Tomasz Baginsky. You probably don’t know this individual but know that he directed the introductory cinematics of The Witcher games, including the incredible The Witcher 3, enough to give a minimum of confidence to those who doubt. The cast of this live action presents some unknown faces and some surprises. Around the table we have Mackenuy (Seiya), Madison Iseman (Saori Kido/Athena) and Sean Bean (Mitsumasa Kido) in lead roles. We also find Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, Diego Tinoco and Mark Dacascos. See also on Konbini The film is produced by Toei Animation’s Yoshi Ikezawa (Harlock: Space Pirates, Halo Legends), the fight choreography is handled by Andy Cheng (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and the screenplay is written by Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken (10 Cloverfield Lane).
