The First Slam Dunk, this is the title of the next film written and directed by the author of the manga himself, Takehiko Inoue. The trailer is available on YouTube and it shows us a very nice animation: Alas, apart from these images, we have no synopsis or information on the subject that the film will cover (apart from the fact that it will probably be about basketball ). Maybe we will have a summary of all the manga in a two-hour feature film? Or maybe a whole new story based on Ryota Miyagi, as the snippets on the beach would indicate? For players on the bench who don’t follow the game, the manga ended in 1996 with 31 volumes. The 101-episode anime also ended in 1996.
