If there is a filmmaker who needs no introduction, it is this dear Quentin Tarantino. We knew that the director wanted to take a short hiatus in his career, before what should be his last feature film. We knew that the latter wanted to develop the writing, he who released the novelization of his last feature film, Once upon a time… in Hollywood. But we had no idea that he would return to literature so quickly, or that he would come on stage to defend it. And yet. On March 29, you will find your favorite director at the Grand Rex during an exceptional evening where, for the duration of a discussion, the latter will return to the films of the 1970s that he saw when he was young and thanks to which he forged his budding cinephilia. Something he says in the book Cinema Speculation, which will be published on March 22 – a week before the meeting in the famous Parisian cinema. This evening will be the occasion for a discussion during which the director will be brought to read an excerpt from his new book. A fairly rare event to qualify as exceptional without too much difficulty. The ticket office, right here, will open on Friday February 3, 2023 from 9 a.m. See also on Konbini
