The incredible Brad Pitt did us the honor of appearing in the Video Club… and it was really crazy: Accompanied by David Leitch, the iconic stuntman who was his understudy on several films, Brad chained crisp anecdotes to about his craziest shoots. The two friends met on Fight Club. At the start of his career, David even admitted having recorded all the action scenes from Jackie Chan’s films to watch them on repeat until 3 a.m. his admiration for Quentin Tarantino, “one of the most original voices” in the history of cinema, or even David Fincher, whose chance meeting in a small restaurant helped him understand the place he was looking for in the films. As for his favorites, Brad cites Fitzcarraldo, one of his “all-time favorite films”, Planet of the Apes, Proust’s madeleine of his childhood, or The Three Days of the Condor, with a Robert Redford “totally underrated”. A master class. Thank you for coming, Brad.
