Armie Hammer, the actor accused of sexual abuse and cannibalistic fantasies by multiple women in 2021, will be the focus of House of Hammer on Discovery+. The documentary series will delve into the heart of the Hammer family, its history and its secrets. The trailer reveals the raw and touching testimonies of several alleged victims of the actor of Call Me by Your Name, all accompanied by screenshots and voice messages. We can thus see messages from Armie Hammer boasting of being “100% cannibalistic” and of wanting to possess women in a way that could be described as unhealthy. The synopsis of the series describes: “Debauchery. Deception. Abuse. Addiction. Corruption. Over five generations, the men of the Hammer family have more secrets and scandals than a safe can hold. Armie Hammer’s alleged crimes are only the tip of the iceberg. Through archives and interviews with survivors and family members, the dark and twisted secrets of the Hammer family are revealed. Behind money and power lies a dysfunctional dynasty whose male characters present all the devastating consequences of privilege gone wild.” Among the statements, that of Casey Hammer, the defendant’s aunt, is worth its weight in gold. She says she wants to “reveal the dark side and the most twisted secrets of the Hammer family”. Already in 2015, she denounced the sexual abuse of her father that she suffered as a child in her book Surviving My Birthright. House of Hammer will be available on Discovery + from September 2.
