It’s official, you will soon be able to find Shanks le Roux and the others in a new film from the franchise of the best-selling manga in history: One Piece: Red. Pathé Films announced it on Twitter, the film “based on the cult work of Eiichiro Oda” will be released in French cinemas on August 10. The synopsis makes our mouths water by revealing that “Luffy and his crew are preparing to attend an eagerly awaited music festival. The most popular singer in the world, Uta, will take the stage for the first time. The one who is none other than the daughter of the legendary pirate Shanks le Roux will reveal the exceptional power of his voice which could well change the world”… A new character (who should seem familiar to you) has also been teased. This is Sunny-kun, a transformation of the Thousand Sunny. The new film, which will be available in France just four days after its release in Japan, its birthplace, once again marks the success of the manga universe in France.
