During the All Saints holidays, Le Rocher Portail, a castle located near Fougères (35), took on the air of Hogwarts. We spent a head there (and a little wave of the wand). Verdict. The essential: Manuel Roussel, a lover of stone, fell in love with Château Le Rocher Portail, located near Fougères, which he acquired in 2016. For the first time, in 2022, during all the All Saints’ Day holidays more precisely, he has wrapped his property in a very special costume: that of a school of witchcraft. Very largely inspired by Hogwarts, this institution (which therefore has nothing to do with Warner) thus has its own houses, its own universe, but above all its own heritage, drawn essentially from the history of the families who have truly lived in the castle through the ages. To return to this 100% cocorico school of wizards, two options are possible: the first, at 28 euros, allows a visit of one hour and thirty minutes (approximately) through the different rooms of class of the castle and, of course, to meet the teachers, all camped by actors totally inhabited by their characters. The second option is visually even more pleasing, since it allows, for the sum of 99 euros, to attend a dinner-show lasting several hours around a real banquet, which has nothing to envy to that of the back to school imagined by JK Rowling.
